A seemingly mild manner Social Security employee, he had a dark secret. . . he enjoyed hunting women in the dead of night.


Kathy Nankervis
Goodreau's first victim in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He targeted her at the social security office where he worked and served her as a client.

The location where he dumped Kathy's remains in an attempt to hide his crime.


Two week search for Kathy
During the two period that Kathy was missing she was in the Keweenaw Waterway. She entered the water near the north entrance and was found near the south enterance near Keweenaw Bay.


Jodi Lynne Watts
The college co-ed he murdered while she was on a midnight run. He was not targeting her but he was worried that she saw him while he laid in wait for his intended victim.
The site of the second crime
The parking deck where David murdered Jodi Watts. This garage is approximately 100 feet for the City of Houghton Police Department.


The crime that got him caught
The third murder attempt occurred at the basement level of this building. She called the police leading to his arrest and confession.
